Golfing

I had a sports assignment this week for photojournalism so yesterday Ryan and I went to the driving range and I had him hit a few golf balls. After that we went and had supper at a friends house. They had caught salmon and were grilling it and I actually tried it! (I don't like fish if you didn't know) It was really good tasting.. I just don't like the texture. Lucky for my they made me a hamburger so I didn't starve!

Amanda

Today I got to take pictures of a beautiful girl. We went to one of the many parks here in Schaumburg. I made her get in weeds and put her feet in water. She was such a good sport. This was her first photo shoot so she was a little nervous, but I think she did a fabulous job!

Swimming

Today, Ryan and I had day off together and we spent the day just enjoying each others company. We made sandwiches for lunch and watch a baseball game on tv. Then we ran around getting gifts for our wonderful fathers. When we got home from that we finally went swimming in the pool at our apartment complex. We have lived here for a year and a half and just now went swimming in the pools for the very first time. We met this really nice family. There was a little boy, who was also named Ryan, who we had "holding our breath" contest with. My Ryan won of course. We are now grilling up some brats and watching baseball highlights from the day. As promised, I took some pictures last night during the storm, but I didn't get any good lightening pictures. I did get one picture I liked so here that is. Thanks for reading.

Day 13

Day 13 of picture a day.

Storm

So i thought I would just post these two pictures as an update on this storm. If you thought the first storm that hit us was bad.. look was coming our way now. We are in Schaumburg if ya didn't know. Gonna take a few photos! Hopefully I get some good ones. If I do I will post them tomorrow.

Rainy Day

Today Ryan and I had a grocery shopping day. We drive out to Algonquin to go to the Walmart since our Walmart is not a supercenter. Our grocery shopping days consist of first going to the only Sonic that is near us and eating lunch. We are "Sonicaholics" so every chance we get we go there. As we were driving over to Walmart from Sonic (which is a couple stores down) it started to look kinda dark.

When we started to walk in it was sprinkling and then all the sudden.. down poor on us! We were soaked when we got into the store. When we turned around to look back at what we had just ran through, the rain was whipping around like a hurricane. Needless to say we shopped in the store until the storm passed. Its crazy how much of a difference a hour can make!
